Coordinator/Tutor
Gail Rice is responsible for the program grant writing and provides tutoring in the elementary schools.
Tutor
Jon Bintner tutors students at the Middle School and elementary schools.
Local School District
Our Local Education Agency Representative (LEA) is Jude VanDamme, who is also the Assistant Principal at the Middle School.
Parents
The Parent Committee helps to design and implement a program that is both educational and culturally relevent. The Parent Committee participates in monthly Title VII meetings, hosts the Spring and Fall Feasts, assists at cultural events and raises money for the scholarship fund.
Students
Title VII students are invited to participate in all project activities through newsletters and flyers.
Native American Community
The Bay De Noc Singers, the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians and the Hannaville Tribe of Indians have been working together with our schools and community.
Network Team
The Central Upper Penninsula Indian Education Network Team currently has eleven school districts who work together sharing information relevant to the Title VII Program and the Native American community.
